Core Values
Acknowledging our dependence on God, we recognize that prayer undergirds all we do.
- COMMUNITY: We foster a strong sense of belonging and acceptance for all members.
- OUTREACH: We are dedicated to reaching those in our district without faith in Jesus Christ.
- DISCIPLESHIP: We strive to grow closer to Jesus and help others do the same.
- GOSPEL JUSTICE: We support and stand with those facing adversity.
- SPIRITUAL GIFTS: We help people identify and use their God-given spiritual gifts.
- UNITY: We value a church family united through the Holy Spirit.
"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
John 8:32 NIV
How we came to be... |
Northern Communities of Hope (NCOH) commenced in early 2002 as a result of a partnership agreement between the Elizabeth and the Hewett Churches of Christ in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia.
|
|
NCOH is based in Davoren Park in Adelaide. This is a low socio economic area where residents contend with such issues as unemployment, mental illness, drug and alcohol abuse, crime, domestic violence, financial hardship, gambling and loneliness.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
